Kenta Yamamoto joined SCL Law Group in 2019 after completing his mandatory legal training in Japan with The Legal Training and Research Institute of The Supreme Court of Japan.
Kenta Yamamoto then honed his legal skills at a law firm in Yokohama for over five years, including secondment to a legal department of a listed company.

Kenta Yamamoto has extensive experience over a broad range of legal practices, including corporate law, intellectual property law, labour law, general civil cases, bankruptcy law, family law – including inheritance and divorce matters – as well as criminal cases, just to name a few. He has been very much involved with supporting corporate clients in, among others, drafting and reviewing agreements, M&A, labour and employment problems, complaint handling, shareholders meetings, litigation and others. Not merely limited to corporate clients, he also handles many private clients as well as matters relating to inheritance, divorce, criminal cases and many others.
Using his unique blend of cross cultural communication skills and extensive legal and corporate knowledge, Kenta Yamamoto has advised both domestic and international companies, in relation to commercial transactions and lawsuits, before various Japanese courts.
