As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to escalate, in addition to the terrible human loss, the pandemic is also causing a profound impact on global business, financial markets and communities worldwide. Unfortunately, Thailand is no exception. The Royal Thai Government has classified COVID-19 as a dangerous communicable disease, and Thailand’s Prime Minister has thus declared a State of Emergency throughout the Kingdom, by enacting the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548 (2005), from March 2020 onwards.

Here at SCL Nishimura, we remain completely focused on supporting our clients throughout this crisis, and we are continually adapting the way we work so as to ensure we can do that in a competent and professional manner. Our remote working program and robust IT infrastructure enable all our lawyers and business professionals to work from home. We have staff dispersal plans and business continuity plans in place, which we are currently implementing as and when circumstances dictate, including splitting teams into different working shifts and locations; thus to ensure we provide an uninterrupted delivery of service to our clients. The health and well-being of our clients and our members is a key concern for us, and we continue to advise and communicate with all of them on a daily basis.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy for the loss and difficulty that has been experienced everywhere around the world and deeply share the feelings of grief and suffering during this extremely challenging time.

Please rest assured that we strive on a daily basis to provide the best possible service to our clients, and we are ready and available to assist you with your legal needs.
